Loving Lipstick

Hi Everyone!

So after many years in the makeup game I'm quite surprised by the fact that I've never bought lipstick.

I've always been a person who likes nothing on their lip because I want to blend in and not stand out in a way a bold lip can do. But now turning 25 in a month I'm alot more confident in myself so am now enjoying making the effort. So I've started myself a little collection which I'm sure will expand over time.

I've just gone with 2 brands so far, Rimmel and Revlon

So lets start with the Rimmel

Firstly is a nude in the colour 250 - Birthday Suit from the Rimmel Lasting Finish collection (£4.99). This will be a nice day to day lip colour, suitable for work and easy to apply without the need of precision.

Next is a red/pink colour from the Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish collection in the number 22 (£5.49). Great for a night out. I recently wore this to a work do in London and got alot of compliments on it.

Finally from Rimmel I got from the Kate Moss Lasting Finish this beautiful plum colour in number 30 (£5.49). Now by the time I took the picture I had put 5 different lipsticks on before so the lips were a tad dry. This is also the most daring of my purchases, so it might take a day where I'm feeling quite confident to wear.

Now onto Revlon. Each one cost £7.99

All 3 are from the Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter Collection

Firstly is a pale pink in the number 047 - Pink Lemonade. This is a very girly shade and looks better with a tan.

Next is an orange lip colour in the number 015 - Tutti Frutti. This is such a spring colour I cannot wait to wear it out with friend just chilling in the sun

Last in the Revlon lipsticks is 035 - Candy Apple. Looking at these photos it does seem quite similar to the Rimmel number 22 but in person this one is more of a red when the Rimmel has some pink in it.

So tell me which one you like or suggest some more for me to try out.

Mybbs xx
