Brighton Hen Do

Hi Everyone

I was very lucky to be invited to Toby's (the BF) sisters Brighton Hen do!

It was an action packed weekend and I enjoyed every minute which was filled with giggles and fun. Alot of my photos are with my friend Saira. We took way too many selfies!

So what did we get up to?

Well the day began with a pole dancing class! Millie started pole around the same time as me but with a different company so it was great to show each other new moves and experience a different type of pole to what I'm used to. The bridesmaid got this cute T-shirts made up which we all wore during the class.

We took this amazing group photo at the end. I'm on the pole on the right at the very top. Below is my friend Saira and bless her I was so exhausted ans sweaty I started slipping and she got my bum on her hand :-P In the middle at the top is the bride to be Millie!!!

After pole we took a minibus to Brighton. I took a few arty farty photos of the peirs and the veiw from our room which was right by the main pier and wheel. We felt so lucky looking outside at it whilst recovering from the heavy pole session.

Saira and I decided to go for a wander as we had a couple of hours to kill and needed to get some food and hair clips so we took a couple of silly photos along the beach and a few selfies with our "willy whistles"

After our little adventure it was time to get our glad rags on.

So what did I wear.....

I got this stunning ribbed fitted dress from Missguided
Coral peep toe heels from New Look

Finally to top it of a coral statement necklace from Forever 21

All our party were wearing black so we all looked really sophisticated next to some of the other hen parties. One party came as old ladies?!?!?!?! So sashes and badges on it was time to PARTY!

Now for the show. We couldn't take any pictures and quite frankly it wouldn't be legal as we went to see the Dreamboys.

For all those who don't know they are a company of strippers who put on shows around the country and they show it ALL! We were in the front row so we all got quite the eyefull and a couple got splashed too (DON'T ASK!!!) But it was hilarious, I think I spent half the show doubled over almost wetting myself with some of the "stunts" these men performed. Below is a picture of the whole party with the men.

Show over ow time for a boogie! We all headed off to Prysm along the sea front and danced until most of us girls, me included exchanged our heels for the flats hidden in our clutch bags.

Me and Saira finished off the night with a walk back to the hotel with heels and chips in hand.

Next morning and due to me not being a big drinker I felt quite fresh and ready to go. It was such beautiful weather that we got dressed, ate breakfast and headed down to the beach whilst it was still quiet.

Now I was wearing the same shirt I had worn for a couple of hours the day before so don't think I'm a dirty tramp for wearing it twice. But it's SOOOO cute. It's a loose fitted parrot print shirt from Oasis. Quite pricey at £40 but I had a voucher left over from my birthday.

We sat on the pebbles chatting about the night before and even had a cheeky Ice cream at 10am :-P

Last but not least we went for a little paddle. Now Saira found this hilarious but after us both getting hit by a huge wave we walked up the beach. But as my feet were soaking and I've got no pain thresh hold I crawled on my hands and knees. She couldn't resist taking a photo of me in this typical Louise moment!

I had such a good weekend and wish the future Mrs Holmes all the happiness in the world!

Who Likes Short Shorts?..... I Like Short Shorts!

Hi Everyone

So with my much needed holiday approaching I have been going shopping for the appropriate attire.

But when I went to Bluewater with a friend of mine we quickly realised I have an issue. I'm obsessed with shorts!

Every shop I went into I was drawn to them like a moth to a flame, but as I had bought 3 pairs in the first shop I went to, I stopped myself from every other place I went to But I might be cheeky and go on a last minute trip before I go as a couple of pairs are burnt on my mind.

Anyway I thought I'd show you my new babies (aka shorts) I've included as many links as I could find so you could maybe also purchase :)

*Quick Disclaimer* Apologies for the mucky background as the cats love to climb on the windowsill behind me and the MASSIVE bruise on my leg..... standard pole injury!

Weeks before my big Bluewater trip I popped into my local town and fell in love when I went to river Island.

Firstly I found these babies! I love the blue and white combination and the fact they're high waisted is really flattering to my figure. Unfortunately they didn' have them in my size. So my tactic was to try on another pair in the same cut in my size then I'd know the correct one to order online. This leads me onto my next pair

Ta da! These were the pair that I was going to try on for size for my blue pair and typical me I fell in love with these  BLACK AND WHITE SHORTS too so I just had to have them. Perfect for any colour top to enjoy in the summer sun. Again high waisted so really flattering if you have a small waist and larger hips. Quite pricey at £30 a pair but they're such a great fit and quality they are worth every penny.

So onto my Bluewater short spoils (there were many more things I bought but lets just stick with the shorts for now)

Forever 21 is still pretty scarce in the UK but whenever I go to a location of one of these store I make a beeline. I get a bit nervous as all the models on their website are TINY so I always wonder if I'll end up being the girl crying in the changing room but I wasn't which is always a positive.

Firstly I got this GREEN SPORT/YOGA SHORTS which are for my pole classes. So technically come to think of it I could buy another cheeky pair as these are more "practical" than pretty :P. Anyway for pole you need short skin tight shorts so these fit the brief. The sizes there were hit and miss but the small fit me well and I'm a size 8-10 so not bad at all and a good price of £5.10

Next is this adorable NAVY AND WHITE LINEN PRINT SHORTS. This pair my friend actually picked up and tried on but I got "shopping envy" and had to pick them up too. So cute with a tucked in loose white top and the small fits me well. Again a good price of £10.50.

Finally on this short obsessed blog are my favourite pair again from Forever 21. These CREAM CROCHET SHORTS! I am in LOVE with these and just £16.75. These will look so beautiful with nearly everything. These will be my "posh" shorts for the holiday and I can't wait to strut around Crete in these.

So there they are. After much hard work with my working out I feel confident and happy to show off my legs so I'm taking full advantage in these beauts.

Hope you enjoyed and got some ideas for summer
